Composite Symbol Dictionary

You can define your own CompositeSymbols in Harikavach.

You already have support for five operators

= , +, -, * . /

Now suppose you want to express exponential operation say with symbol ^

This is not supported directly , However  you can write "**" ie write multiplication operator twice to mean exponential.

**   is equivalent to ^

This way you can define your own Composite symbols. One would need to remember these Composite Symbols  or keep a Composite Symbol Dictionary.

If you want to express comma ie ","  you can write ".."

..  is equivalent to , 

 This way you can define several Composite Symbols. Only caveat is that the composite symbols must be designed with care so that they don't make normal messages ambiguous.

Although , Harikavach is about HandCryption, nothing stops it from being computerized. I am currently in the process of designing the file format to store Harikavach Messages. Thinking of 6 bit representation for every symbol. Will post the format once I have finalized it.

Potter Metaphor.

Any Computer Language can be defined in terms of its  Vocabulary  and it's  Grammar . A Language's grammar specifies the rules of composition of its fundamental elements. When you start learning a language most of the introductory material focuses on the vocabulary and the grammar. When you achieve a satisfactory level of proficiency in the vocabulary and the grammar, you feel that you know the language. As you are aware that in languages like English, knowing vocabulary and grammar doesn't guarantee your ability to write an essay or a poem. Similarly knowing vocabulary and grammar of a computer programming language doesn't guarantee your ability to develop software in it. You have to master several other skills before you start developing a software. Video Courses Available on Web.

I have released a few of my video courses on the Web. The videos are live recordings of the lectures I conduct at the Institute. For sake of Organization,Navigability and Responsiveness, I have split the videos as follows. 1) Course is made up of a Series. Each series is a collection of Lectures. 2) Lectures are tagged as Episodes 3) Each Unit within a lecture is a Lap 4) Laps are broken into Nuggets , for organization, navigation and stage-wise description. Currently courses are available on request and via referral. The courses can be accessed from the Elearning Tab on the Institute's Home Page.
